Hosted at the Grand Hyatt Denver, in partnership with St. John’s Cathedral Denver, Church of the Ascension Denver, and St. Michael’s Episcopal Church Colorado Springs, EPN 2027 will bring leaders from across the Church together for a dynamic and collaborative experience.

EPN 2027 Annual Conference

Some voices change the way we think. Others change the way we lead.
For more than four decades, Ronald Heifetz has helped leaders around the world navigate uncertainty, mobilize communities through change, and discover new possibilities in moments of profound transition. His work has influenced presidents, prime ministers, nonprofit organizations, universities, corporations, and religious communities on every continent.

For the Episcopal Church, his influence has been especially significant.
Beginning with Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold’s introduction of adaptive leadership to the House of Bishops, Heifetz’s work became part of the Church’s understanding of faithful leadership. Bishops, diocesan staff, clergy, vestries, and lay leaders have embraced adaptive leadership as a practical framework for discerning God’s future in changing times.

For more than thirty years, that framework has helped congregations distinguish between technical problems and adaptive challenges, lead through conflict with courage, remain grounded in mission while embracing change, and learning to lead from the balcony.
