We are seeking a dynamic, pastoral leader to join in preaching, teaching, sacramental ministry, pastoral care and overseeing our thriving ministry with children, youth and families.
Responsibilities
• Join in the regular round of preaching, teaching and pastoral care of the congregation
• Work with clergy team to vision and implement curriculum for our children and youth
• Coordinate and schedule volunteers for Chapel Leaders, Sunday School teachers, youth leaders and acolytes
• Work to create community among our many families and young adults
• Participate in leading Children’s Chapel on a regular basis
• Participate in Wednesday night children’s offerings
• Lead youth events
• Lead overseas and domestic youth pilgrimages
• Maintain an active pastoral presence to our youth and families
• Organize annual children’s activities

The Director of Parish Life and Membership will be responsible for managing the Parish Life Team within the church staff, which includes responsibility for managing the membership database. This person, in collaboration with church staff members and congregational volunteers, will welcome, encourage, and guide those who visit the church in person or online for worship services and various events. This person will shepherd guests and newcomers toward membership and also invite existing members to take a step closer to the center of our common life.
